Established in January 2008 and located in the Industrial Growth Centre of Bawal in Haryana State, India, POSCO-IDPC is just 70 kilometers from the national capital of New Delhi. The company has two plants which have an annual capacity of 107,000 tons and 104,000 tons respectively. POSCO-IDPC was established with the objective of providing high quality service and Just-In-Time (JIT) supplies to its customers, especially in Northern India.
On crossing the one million ton cumulative sales mark, Ms. Yu-ran Seo, Managing Director of POSCO-IDPC said, “It is a proud moment for our IDPC. I would like to express my deep appreciation to the IDPCians for their achievements and for their sincere, hardworking and patient efforts. I am confident that we can soon achieve another one million ton sales target.” She encouraged the staff by praising their continuous good performance, adding, “As we put our heads and hands together, we remain confident that we will undoubtedly reach our goal soon.”
Also on this occasion, POSCO-IDPC launched its newsletter entitled “FAMILY,” continuing one step closer toward a “Global One POSCO.”

To assist its staff in maintaining their health and fitness, the management has opened a gym within the Bawal plant premises. Also, several programs and workshops are conducted for the employees, such as training seminars on firefighting, and organizing and planning skills, along with team building workshops.
