POSCO Group presented its new brand slogan, “Creating Value for a Better World. Green Tomorrow, with POSCO.”
Over the past five years, POSCO Group has continued its business transformation through its transition to a holding company to maximize corporate value, which is the ultimate goal of its Corporate Citizenship management philosophy, and by improving its business structure by focusing on eco-friendliness. As an extension of its restructuring, POSCO Group presented the brand slogan, which indicates the group’s direction toward 100 years of business.
The new brand slogan expresses the reason for the lasting existence of POSCO Group and the promise to create a sustainable future for mankind. It is also an expression of POSCO Group’s will to add value to the world through its main business by adding technology to iron ore to make steel, which is the basis of the industry, and by adding technology to make lithium for secondary battery materials, which is the core of green mobility.
POSCO Group also plans to actively pursue brand communication to communicate the new brand slogan to internal and external stakeholders. First of all, a new brand video and banner presenting the goal of the group’s transformation into a leading green future materials company were shared with executives and employees through an in-house PR channel. In addition, starting on Aug. 14, a brand advertisement showing POSCO Group adding value to the world with its technologies and passion in a salt lake in Argentina, on the other side of the world, will be released to the public on YouTube and in movie theaters.
POSCO Group also adds value to each business as it plans to expand the brand slogan by reflecting the characteristics of each company’s business while maintaining uniformity around the message “Creating Value for a Better World. Green Tomorrow, with POSCO.” The brand slogan of POSCO is “Better World with Green Steel. Green Tomorrow, with POSCO,”
